About the Role

Mace is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the MEP services delivery on one of our largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This is a unique opportunity to work on a major mixed-use development project, including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts, along with associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review consultant and contractor designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide input into the procurement process, including preparation of briefs and bid documentation.
  • Supervise technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and utility providers.
  • Review pre-construction documentation, including shop drawings, material/equipment submittals, and quality plans.
  • Lead the coordination of MEP design and fabric, ensuring consideration, collaboration, and coordination with build elements.
  • Review testing and commissioning activities and liaise with the independent commissioning authority.
  • Develop a project MEP close-out strategy and review documentation, such as record drawings and O&M manuals.
  • Support the commercial team in the valuation of works, change control, or claims.
  • Assist in the production of project reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.
  • Discipline-specific professional registration with CIBSE, IET, IMechE, SoPHE, or CIOB.
  • Knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business.
  • SMSTS and CSCS card.
  • Experience in leading an MEP team on a major project.
  • Ability to manage multiple MEP works packages in parallel.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects with large-scale MEP value.
  • Experience in the relevant construction sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful projects/contributions.
