Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining Unix/Linux systems, storage units, server hardware, and backup systems at our terminals. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Installation: Design, install, and configure Linux Servers and automation tools (Debian and Redhat derivatives, Ansible, Satellite, etc.) to ensure high availability and redundancy of business-critical systems.
  • Server and Storage Management: Experience with Server, Storage & SAN (Storage Area Network) hardware setup, management, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Virtualization and Containerization: Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Openshift, Kubernetes, etc.) to ensure efficient use of resources and scalability.
  • Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Responsible for performance monitoring and tuning of systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Backup and Recovery: Installation and management of backup systems (Veeam Backup) to ensure data integrity and recoverability.
  • Security and Compliance: Responsible for closing security gaps of systems and ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies to determine the needs within the scope of Unix/Linux systems, backup systems, storage units, and virtual systems in new projects.
  • Technical Development: Follow the technological development of systems under responsibility and ensure that they are applied to the institution when necessary.
  • Long-term Planning: Perform long-term planning for hardware and software upgrades and prepare annual capacity plans.
  • Management Activities: Administer and execute various management activities and manage all backup activities.
  • Information Security: Prepare and enforce information security management system documentation and follow up on licensing and support agreements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
  • Experience: Relevant work experience: 5 years.
  • Language: Good command of English language to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
