Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement HSE Policies: Establish and maintain a comprehensive HSE management system that meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks associated with our projects, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
- Lead HSE Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees understand their HSE responsibilities and are equipped to work safely.
- Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and Report HSE Performance: Track and analyze HSE metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify that all employees and contractors adhere to HSE policies and procedures, and that regulatory requirements are met.
- Develop and Maintain HSE Procedures: Create and update HSE procedures, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Represent Asterix Communications: Serve as the primary point of contact for HSE-related matters, representing the company in external forums and meetings.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay current with the latest HSE trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Health and Occupational Safety or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 20+ years of experience in HSE, with a strong background in safety management and regulatory compliance.
- Skills: Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE policies and procedures, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Certifications: Possession of recognized HSE certifications, such as NEBOSH, OSHAD, or ISO 45001.
- Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Health and Occupational Safety or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the construction or aviation industry, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading HSE teams and implementing successful safety initiatives.
