Pega Lead Architect - Enterprise Solutions

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Lead Architect to join our team at LTIMindtree. The ideal candidate will have experience in Agile methodologies and the ability to lead delivery from inception to rollouts.

This position is responsible for leading the architecture, design, performance, and scalability for applications built on the Pega platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Use proven communication skills to work with business stakeholders to understand and influence business requirements.
  2. Process Optimization: Identify and drive process optimization and streamlining for client business processes.
  3. Pega PRPC Expertise: Possess excellent knowledge and experience in Pega PRPC Enterprise class structure design and application profiling.
  4. Technical Solution Design: Produce High Level and Low Level Technical Solution/Design documents.
  5. Pega PRPC Concepts: Demonstrate strong knowledge of various Pega PRPC concepts and rule types like Activities, Functions, Data Transforms, Authentication Service, Reporting, Agents, and Ruleset Management.
  6. Delivery of Pega PRPC Solutions: Successfully run end-to-end delivery of Pega PRPC based solutions/projects from a technical perspective.
  7. Technical Design Authority: Act as Technical Design Authority for the entire Pega solution to drive strategic solutions for customers.
  8. Emerging Technologies: Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions.
  9. Business and IT Alignment: Ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals/objectives.
  10. Scope and Impact Analysis: Identify and quantify scope and impact of business requirements and changes on systems.
  11. Solution Options Communication: Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g., architecture reviews).
  12. Software and System Architecture: Incorporate software and system architecture (e.g., infrastructure, network) into conceptual designs for highly scalable and performing solutions.
  13. Enterprise Technology Standards: Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g., solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans).
  14. Strategic Thinking: Provide strategic thinking, solutions, and roadmaps while driving enterprise recommendations and ensuring adherence to established standards and practices.
  15. Requirement and Solution Definition: Provide ownership for all requirement and solution definition artifacts throughout the project lifecycle including TOM and Traceability Matrices.
  16. Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision making.
  17. Guidance and Mentoring: Review the work of others, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to both Development and Business Architect teams.
  18. Innovative Approaches: Develop innovative approaches to challenging and complex assignments.
  19. Customer Needs: Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them.
  20. Industry Best Practices: Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems.
  21. Resource Planning: Forecast and plan resource requirements.
  22. Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and motivate and lead other team members.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  1. Education: Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in a relevant IT field.
  2. Pega CLSA Certification: Pega CLSA Certification is a must.
  3. Pega Experience: Relevant experience of 5+ years in Designing and Architecting Pega Solutions using Pega PRPC 6/7 versions.
  4. Solution Documentation: Ability to produce Detailed Solution documents both Low Level and High Level.
  5. Pega Strategic Applications: Experience in Pega Strategic Applications.
  6. Agile Environment: Must have worked in an Agile environment with good knowledge in SCRUM methodology.
  7. Integration Services: Working knowledge in Integration services and Connectors like SOAP, JMS, REST.
  8. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.
