Olayan Saudi Holding Company is looking for a Senior Accountant to assist our Financial Controllers in monthly/yearly closing and maintain accurate records of Inventory, Expense accruals and VAT.
Job Summary:- Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory movements, prepare reports for inventory valuation, ageing and adjustments, reconcile inventory ledger with General Ledger on a monthly basis.
- Accruals and Prepayments: Review and propose accruals on a monthly basis, prepare schedules of prepayments and propose monthly vouchers for adjustments.
- Closing Activities: Prepare Journal Vouchers for month end, prepare trial balance reconciliations, finalize the trial balance and prepare a set of Financial Statements.
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, prepare monthly reconciliation of Input VAT, Output VAT, and VAT return.
- Coordinate with GAZT for monthly return submission and subsequent queries, support in VAT audits.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounts and 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Mid-Senior level professionals with full-time employment are encouraged to apply.
