Job Title: Green Infrastructure Developer

We are seeking a skilled Green Infrastructure Developer to join our team at Environmental Horizons CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in green infrastructure development and a passion for sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop green infrastructure projects that incorporate innovative technologies and sustainable practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive site assessments to identify opportunities for green infrastructure implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement green infrastructure plans.
  • Provide expert technical advice on green infrastructure matters, offering guidance to both technical and administrative teams on addressing environmental challenges.
  • Lead field studies and environmental remediation activities, managing the restoration and rehabilitation of impacted ecosystems.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to present findings from green infrastructure studies to clients, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of changes in environmental legislation and best practices, ensuring that projects align with the most current environmental standards.
  • Actively participate in environmental rehabilitation initiatives, implementing corrective actions and improvements for impacted ecosystems.
  • Promote environmental awareness by organizing educational workshops and campaigns for communities.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of environmental permits from relevant governmental authorities and ensure full compliance with required environmental conditions.
  • Address environmental concerns and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective solutions to mitigate negative impacts.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, attend project meetings, and ensure precise and efficient execution of environmental procedures.
  • Prepare technical and financial proposals for environmental projects, providing consulting services to ensure projects meet environmental standards and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Green Infrastructure Development or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in green infrastructure development, with a strong track record in green infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage and conduct field studies and lead green infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports, presentations, and other forms of environmental documentation.
  • Experience working with governmental agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and simultaneously.

Professional Certifications:

  • Certified Green Infrastructure Developer (CGID) or equivalent green infrastructure certifications.
  • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or similar environmental management certification.
  • LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation.
  • Certified Sustainable Practitioner (CSP) or similar certifications related to sustainable development.
