**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Department Head to lead and manage our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the IT department, including supervising and mentoring IT staff, setting performance goals, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • IT Strategy: Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • IT Operations: Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure their reliability, security, and scalability.
  • IT Governance: Define and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, data integrity, and information security.
  • Financial Management: Manage the IT budget, including cost control, procurement of hardware and software, and vendor management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions and support.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the availability and performance of IT systems and applications through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Project Management: Manage IT projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide IT strategy and decision-making.
  • Culture and Compliance: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and customer service within the IT department. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT operations.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and end-users, including troubleshooting complex issues and resolving escalated incidents.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Security: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain effective security measures and protocols.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on IT operations, projects, and performance to senior management.
