Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MS Implementation Support Engineer to join our team at International SOS Al-Rushaid Co Ltd. As a key member of our Medical Services Business Line, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and review clinical needs to align with business goals and work closely with vendors and the Enterprise Applications Team.
  • Act as a functional solution provider for the EMR, ensuring high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions.
  • Apply deep knowledge of healthcare workflows, clinical data, and medical terminologies to facilitate the translation of clinical requirements.
  • Accountable for all functional aspects of the application.
  • Leverage expertise in healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7 and FHIR, to facilitate smooth integration with other healthcare IT systems and vendors.
  • Review and revise scope considering any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality, and risk.
  • Understand the architecture and data structure of the EMR system to assist with seamless integration to other systems and/or government applications.
  • Strong understanding of insurance process and billing requirements.
  • Review and manage defects during the project life cycle.
  • Assess change requests in the application and escalate to Business and IT Owners as required.
  • Create comprehensive documentation and provide training to users and IT staff.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of medical services and clinical workflows.
  • Experience in HIS/EMR.
  • Experience in integrating HIS with sub-systems, such as LIS/RIS/PACS.
  • Experience in Insurance Integration (Nphies).
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and how to work with healthcare data in a structured way.
  • Working knowledge of HL7 v2, v3, unified health records, or health exchanges.
  • Refined communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Experience of the whole project life cycle.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the differing business strategies and practices that exist within a large organization.
  • Experience with conducting trainings.

Work Experience
  • Experience in working with clinical systems.
  • Experience in Project Management and able to work with development teams to deliver systems according to specifications as well as leading and performing post-production support.
  • Experience in Insurance workflow.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or engineering discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Project Management (Prince2/PMI accreditation) are desirable.
Language
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is required.

Moderate (25%) travel is required.
