  • Antal International Network - IME is a leading healthcare organization seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmology - Corneal Transplant Surgeon to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Estimated Salary: SAR 250,000 - SAR 350,000 per annum

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our ophthalmology department. As a Consultant Ophthalmology - Corneal Transplant Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on eye care services, collaborating with medical professionals to optimize patient care, driving training and development initiatives, and overseeing the implementation of best practices in ophthalmic services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality ophthalmology care to patients, including consultative services as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents in their area of expertise.
  • Participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows, as well as research activities.
  • Contribute to committees and administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged and follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from a reputable medical school.
  • Completion of required training in Transplant Surgery.
  • Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is mandatory.
  • Dataflow is also required.

Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of post-board/fellowship experience in Transplant Surgery.
  • Registration with the Saudi Board Council is essential.

Language Proficiency

  • Proficiency in English is a must; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
