About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join Unicharm's finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive VAT services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing VAT-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer and register VAT processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  2. Handle all VAT matters, including preparing papers, managing information data requests, and coordinating with the SAP IT team.
  3. Participate in finance meetings to integrate upcoming regulations with SAP and resolve related issues.
  4. Prepare monthly reconciliation VAT reports, ensure timely payments, and maintain VAT balances on the General Ledger.
  5. Advise on VAT issues related to various transactions, ensuring compliance with Saudi Tax regulations.
  6. Prepare VAT planning and assess its impact on Unicharm's finances from a finance perspective.
  7. Control technical VAT issues to ensure accurate reporting in line with accounting standards.
  8. Complete VAT returns and provide day-to-day advice on VAT coding and postings.
  9. Manage and coordinate VAT audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Provide support and exchange knowledge with the Unicharm team, maintaining productive communication and working relationships.
  11. Answer questions from vendors, customers, and contractors related to exemptions or grandfathering.
  12. Understand and follow Unicharm's workplace policies and procedures, developing or implementing best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Very good computer skills (Microsoft Office and Internet).
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Very good communication skills.
