Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Associate Internal Auditor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the leading technician in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor modifications in depot equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections, unscheduled maintenance, inspecting parts for surface defects, changing of consumable items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning of all the depot equipment.
- Perform time sensitive fault diagnostics and component replacement on the depot equipment & track cleaning vehicles.
- Follow the appropriate maintenance procedures and instructions, operating rules and procedures to ensure compliance with the Maintenance requirements.
- Produce and maintain accurate maintenance records of all depot equipment, tool and work accomplished and other information using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Perform Train movement using the shunting equipment as required.
- Implement and follow Permit to Work process.
- Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
- Perform roles necessary for the management of the safe system of works, including meeting tight maintenance schedules.
- Assist and maintain good relationship with the external services personnel during the depot equipment maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance of the depot equipment in railway industry.
- Strong understanding of interference & consequences of a failure in the depot equipment in a metro system.
- Ability to write simple technical reports, routine business correspondence, prepare method statements and drawings as required.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Education: A vocational trade certificate or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.
