We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse leader to join our esteemed healthcare organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As the head of the NICU, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our unit.
The successful candidate will possess a strong clinical background in neonatal intensive care, with a proven track record of leadership and management in a healthcare setting. They will be able to work effectively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based practices, improve patient safety, and enhance the overall quality of care provided in our NICU.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the NICU team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes and exceed regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement innovative care models and technologies that improve patient care and reduce costs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote excellence in patient care.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a talented and motivated nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve high levels of staff engagement and retention.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support staff growth and development.
- Create a positive and supportive work environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among staff members.
- Manage staff schedules and assignments to ensure adequate patient care coverage and maintain high levels of staff morale and job satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and implement quality initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided in the NICU.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing with a Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same field and same position.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and management in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in neonatal intensive care.
- Familiarity with dataflow and quality assurance systems.
- Fluent in English language.
