Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Shipyard Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning Specialist to lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in shipyard projects. As a leading independent talent acquisition consultancy, we specialize in providing recruitment solutions for various industries, including shipbuilding, oil and gas, construction, infrastructure, energy, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in shipyard projects to ensure all systems and equipment meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive pre-commissioning and commissioning plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including shipyard management, project management, subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, tests, and functional checks to verify the readiness of systems and equipment.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the pre-commissioning and commissioning process.
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and handover packages related to pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures throughout the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in shipyard pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Strong knowledge of shipyard operations and processes.
  • Experience in managing and supervising pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in shipyard projects.
  • Good understanding of EPC project execution.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to shipyard sites as required.
