Job Summary:
Parsons Oman is seeking a highly skilled BIM Implementation Specialist to support the Digital Delivery Team in executing day-to-day coordination, development, establishment, and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in our Riyadh office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Digital Delivery Team: Collaborate with the Digital Delivery Team to execute BIM implementation activities, ensuring seamless integration with project workflows.
- Prepare and Update BIM Documents: Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP), and Clash Detection Matrices to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Conduct BIM Coordination Meetings: Organize and facilitate regular BIM coordination meetings to discuss project progress, address issues, and record meeting minutes.
- Provide Progress Updates: Deliver fortnightly and monthly progress updates to the Technical Manager - Digital, ensuring timely communication of project status.
- Setup and Configure CDE: Support the setup, development, and configuration of the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure efficient data management and collaboration.
- Deploy BIM Software and Provide Training: Assist in deploying BIM software and provide hands-on training to project team members as needed, ensuring they are proficient in using BIM tools.
- Ensure PIM Delivery: Ensure the Project Information Model (PIM) is delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP, and CDE protocol, meeting project standards and client requirements.
- Develop and Maintain QA/QC Templates: Create and maintain QA/QC templates aligned with the organization's and project's quality procedures, BIM production methods, and standards.
- Measure and Ensure Quality: Monitor and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models, conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs to ensure high-quality BIM package submissions.
- Perform QA/QC on Models: Review and perform QA/QC on models, maintaining a tracker to confirm geometrical and non-geometrical information compliance with project design and BIM requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from an accredited university or institution.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in design or construction, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM implementation on major projects or programs.
- Skills: High level of proficiency in BIM processes and ISO 19650 standards, proficiency in software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, Revizto, ProjectWise, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and experience in either a consultant or contractor role on building and infrastructure projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to develop analytical reports and presentations.
