Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Boys Education at Egypt Education Platform (EEP). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the boys' school division, driving academic excellence, and fostering a positive school culture.

The Head of Boys Education will have overall responsibility for the academic leadership of the boys' school division, including the development of curriculum, assessment, and reporting strategies. They will also be responsible for managing budgets, supervising staff, and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence within the division.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of delivering academic excellence and improving student outcomes. They will also be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment principles.

The Head of Boys Education will be part of the senior leadership team and will work closely with other leaders to develop and implement the school's strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Provide inspirational leadership to the boys' school division, driving academic excellence and improving student outcomes.
  • Curriculum Design & Implementation: Develop and implement curriculum, assessment, and reporting strategies that meet the needs of students and stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of funds and optimal student outcomes.
  • Staff Supervision & Development: Supervise and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Innovation & Excellence: Promote a culture of innovation and excellence within the division, encouraging staff to think creatively and develop new ideas.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A degree in education, with a certified teaching qualification (e.g., US Teaching License or equivalent).
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience including within international settings. Previous experience of teaching an international curriculum (e.g. American/IB/British) is a significant advantage.
