Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team at Aldara Medical Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, developing financial statements and reports, and performing complex financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual period close process.
  • Design, implement, and maintain internal controls, reports, and interfaces for financial systems.
  • Prepare and/or review account reconciliations, cost reports, billings, bank reconciliations, and various other financial reports.
  • Provide information to auditors and management as needed, and prepare audit schedules as necessary.
  • Recommend procedures and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in accounting, preferably in Lawson/Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of government and sector regulatory requirements related to the functional area.
