Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our growing team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reproducibility, and optimizing ML models for efficient training and inference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources to inform business decisions.
  • Cloud and On-Premise Infrastructure: Design, build, support, and scale our cloud and/or on-premise data and ML infrastructure to meet business needs.
  • ETL Pipelines: Design and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to ensure data quality and reproducibility.
  • Collaboration with Data Scientists: Collaborate with data scientists to provide data insights for ML model development and deployment.
  • Model Deployment and Optimization: Deploy deep learning models in production environments and optimize their performance for inference on either GPU or CPU.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve data engineering processes, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including product managers, data scientists, data annotators, and stakeholders, to ensure successful implementation of data-driven initiatives.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering, ML models, and apply this knowledge to enhance our data capabilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: +2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++) with the ability to learn new languages.
  • Data Pipeline Management: Ability to create and manage complex multi-stage data pipelines.
  • Database Experience: Experience with relational databases, including SQL queries, database definition, and schema design.
  • Best Practices: Uphold best practices and principles around clean code, version control, testing, continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to convey technical solutions to end-users.
  • Deep Learning Frameworks: Experience with deploying Deep learning frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, Pytorch, Onnx) in production environments using inference frameworks (e.g. Nvidia Triton, TFXServing, TorchServe) is highly preferred.
  • Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) is highly preferred.
  • Distributed Computing: Experience with distributed computing systems is a plus.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, OCI) is a plus.
  • Big Data Platforms: Knowledge of big data platforms like kafka, hadoop, and spark is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Must be Humble, Excellent, Relevant with a high sense of Ownership.
