We are looking for a driven Senior Planning Engineer to support us with multiple data center projects for a top technology company. This is a client-facing role, responsible for performing complex planning and scheduling tasks, including change management, scheduled maintenance, and multi-project resource management.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strong relationships with clients and communicate with technical and management-level personnel.
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
- Work with clients and contractors to establish work breakdown structures (WBS), CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules (IMS).
- Loading schedules with resource and cost information.
- Performing resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and resource strain.
- Updating, maintaining, and revising monthly and weekly schedules and reports.
- Preparing PowerPoint decks and presenting to management on progress, findings, and recommendations.
- 12+ years of construction planning and scheduling experience.
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, engineering, project management, or related technical field.
- Excellent understanding of construction and scheduling best practices.
- Highly proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience developing various types of reports targeting different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical construction programs and communicate progress to both technical and management-level personnel.
