As a Warehouse SAP Specialist at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in leading or participating in the implementation, configuration, and customization of SAP modules related to warehouse management (SAP WM or SAP EWM). Your expertise will be essential in analyzing existing warehouse processes and recommending improvements to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs using SAP tools.
Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Management Implementation: Lead or participate in the implementation, configuration, and customization of SAP modules related to warehouse management (SAP WM or SAP EWM) to optimize warehouse operations.
- Data Management: Manage data within the SAP system, including inventory, material movements, and stock levels, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to warehouse staff and end-users to ensure they can effectively use SAP systems, enhancing their productivity and efficiency.
- Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and teams to integrate SAP with other business processes and systems, such as order management and inventory control, to ensure seamless operations.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and analytics from SAP to track key warehouse performance indicators, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics, providing valuable insights for business decisions.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues with SAP warehouse management modules, troubleshoot technical problems, and coordinate with SAP consultant support as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that warehouse operations and data management comply with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures related to SAP warehouse management.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP and relevant background.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
