  8. Plan and execute corporate events, including conferences and trade shows to promote the company's brand and engage stakeholders.
  9. BUILD strong relationships with key media contacts to proactively manage media inquiries and secure positive media coverage.

Requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, preferably within the mining or natural resources sector.
  3. A passion for delivering effective communications and the ability to contribute to and execute strategic programs as well as tactical activities.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences and various channels.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build relationships and collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  6. Strong media relations experience with a track record of securing positive media coverage.
  7. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Knowledge of sustainability practices, environmental issues, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the chemical industry.
  9. Experience managing and/or mentoring staff, including direct reports as well as those beyond your immediate team.
