The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ventures Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our innovation programs team, you will be responsible for evaluating startups for potential investment opportunities and working closely with corporate executives to identify areas for mentoring. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting due diligence on startup teams, assessing market size and technology feasibility, and developing comprehensive business plans. You will also work closely with startup founders to provide guidance on product development and scaling strategies.

Responsibilities
• Outreach and screen new, relevant, and exciting startups for investment purposes
• Conduct research to identify new markets and industry sectors, conducting in-depth business analysis to identify new competitive opportunities
• Collaborate with corporate executives in deal flow sessions several times per week
• Analyze startup team strengths, market size, technology, and business model
• Mentor startups in the program on taking products to market, raising money, scaling, and all other ad-hoc business needs

Requirements
• BS/BA Degree in Finance is highly recommended
• Background in Finance / Entrepreneurship / Technology is highly recommended
• Experience working in a startup environment and/or venture capital
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, prospects, and industry contacts and contribute towards high-impact results
