About the Role

Rua Al Madinah Holding | رؤى المدينة القابضة is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to identify and analyze potential audit risks within various departments and functions, including financial reporting, revenue recognition, expense management, payroll, budgeting, procurement, legal, and treasury functions.
  • Develop Comprehensive Audit Plans defining objectives, scope, methodology, resources, and timelines for assigned audits.
  • Prepare Detailed Audit Programs outlining test procedures and controls to be evaluated.
  • Perform Substantive Audit Procedures, including test of transactions, analytical procedures, and review of documentation.
  • Assess the Effectiveness of Internal Controls and identify potential control weaknesses.
  • Evaluate Financial Statements and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Document Audit Findings and observations clearly and concisely, preparing detailed working papers.
  • Draft Professional Audit Reports, communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement to Senior Management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor Implementation of Corrective Actions and report on their progress.
  • Stay Informed on Current Internal Audit Methodologies and best practices.
  • Share Knowledge and Expertise with team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal audit function.
  • Participate in Professional Development Opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in Developing and Finalizing IT Audit Plans, aligned with IT risk assessments and industry best practices.
  • Conduct Research and Prepare Documentation on relevant IT systems and controls.
  • Participate in Pre-Audit Meetings with IT personnel to understand system functionality and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Perform IT-Specific Testing Procedures under the guidance of the IT Audit Manager, including access controls, data security, and system vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze IT Audit Data and identify potential cyber threats and control weaknesses, documenting findings in clear and concise reports.
  • Assist in Preparing IT Audit Reports with clear and concise recommendations for improving IT security, controls, and compliance.
  • Participate in Discussions with Stakeholders and present IT audit findings effectively.
  • Mentor and Coach Internal Audit Team Members, contributing to their professional development and skill growth.
  • Ensure the Internal Audit Team Maintains the Highest Standards of professionalism, objectivity, and ethical conduct.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 Years of Experience in internal auditing or a related field, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Mid-Level with Experience Supporting Audits across diverse areas.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) are preferred.
