Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the inventory of production materials and supplies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and predict material supply needs based on production schedules.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain efficient material handling processes.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve material shortages or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on material usage, inventory levels, and forecasts.
Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in inventory management or materials planning.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to material handling.
Strong analytical skills to assess material needs, manage stock levels, and analyze supplier performance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other software tools for tracking inventory, creating reports, and forecasting material requirements.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and manage costs effectively.
Knowledge of quality control processes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance standards related to materials handling.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and inventory across various production stages.
Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with suppliers, production teams, and management.
Strong problem-solving abilities, especially when dealing with material shortages, discrepancies, or delays.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material tracking, ordering, and documentation.
Ability to work under pressure, especially when managing urgent material procurement or resolving production delays.
