Inventory Management
Track stock levels: Monitor inventory levels in real-time, ensuring the right quantity of products is available to meet customer demand without overstocking.
Ensure stock accuracy: Regularly perform stock counts (cycle counts or full counts) to ensure that physical inventory matches system records.
Order stock: Place orders with suppliers to restock inventory when levels run low, ensuring that reorder points are followed.
Stock Replenishment
Forecast inventory needs: Work with demand planners and sales teams to forecast future inventory needs based on demand patterns and upcoming sales.
Optimize reorder processes: Set optimal reorder points, order quantities, and delivery schedules to minimize stockouts while avoiding excess inventory.
Coordinate with suppliers: Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferred
Minimum 10 years experience working in cost control age between 32 and 38
Management experience strongly preferred
Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid networking and interpersonal skills
Able to generate budgets and reports
Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads
Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems
Inventory Accuracy and Reconciliation
Conduct regular audits: Perform regular stock audits (physical counts) and reconcile them with inventory management systems to ensure data accuracy.
Identify discrepancies: Investigate any discrepancies between physical stock and system records, and take corrective actions if necessary.
Update records: Ensure that inventory records are updated in real-time to reflect stock movements (sales, returns, restocks).
Storage and Organization
Maintain organized storage: Ensure that stock is stored efficiently and in accordance with company policies to optimize space and prevent damage.
Ensure proper labeling: Ensure that all products are correctly labeled with identifying information, such as barcodes, SKU numbers, and expiration dates (if applicable).
Control stock locations: Organize inventory in a way that makes it easy to retrieve and track, and ensure that all items are stored in a safe and secure manner.
