The job duties of the treasury accountant as following:
**Responsibilities**
- Receiving the custody of the treasury after its inventory, classifying the sums of money each according to categories, signing the receipt of the treasury, and making sure that the treasury is intact and has no defects, and that copies of the keys are found only with the treasurer and the additional copy with what the general manager sees.
- Receiving the sums of money and preparing a cash receipt (authorization of receipts) after sorting and counting the cash with an explanation of the reason for receipt or the documents indicating that and the signature of the treasury auditor.
- Not disbursing money until after receiving an approved and prepared disbursement request from the financial department with the reason for the disbursement attached, provided that the treasurer prepares cash disbursement authorizations and the signature of the receiving person and attaches a copy of the identity card and the signature of the treasury auditor on the receipt.
- Preparing daily treasury inventory and preparing the treasury movement statement (receipts and payments).
- Sending the original treasury daily movement along with copies of payment receipts (payments) and receipts (receipts) to the settlement accountant (treasury accountant) to prepare the treasury journal entry.
- In the event that there is any deficit in the treasury, a report is made to find out the reason for the deficit, and based on that, a decision is taken regarding the deficit.
- A replacement for the treasurer is appointed by the general manager, in cases of (illness - leave - absence) of the main custodian. Receipt takes place only after inventorying the treasury by the treasury auditor, the accounts manager and the financial manager, handing over the new custodian and signing it, and handing him the extra copy of the keys Treasury.
- In the case of advances and pledges to employees, which are more than double the salary, the employee will sign a trust receipt that will be kept in the treasury and will be refunded after payment or settlement, after attaching evidence of that.
- The treasury room must be in a good place, separated from the rest of the departments, and monitored by cameras.
