The Commis plays a vital role in the culinary team, responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. This position supports the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality dishes, adhering to food safety standards, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
- Assist in food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and peeling ingredients.
- Execute cooking tasks under the guidance of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, including equipment and workstations.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food storage practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Communicate effectively within the kitchen team to coordinate tasks.
- Support the maintenance of inventory and report shortages as needed.
- Contribute to food presentation and portion control.
- Always comply with safety and hygiene standards.

**Qualifications** Qualifications and Experience**:

- Culinary school diploma or relevant culinary training is a plus.
- Prior experience as a kitchen helper or equivalent culinary role is beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
