Accountabilities

**Import Coordination & Tracking**:

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the importation of goods from origin to destination according to need by date.
- Track shipments, update stakeholders on delivery timelines, and resolve any issues that arise during transportation.
- Ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
- Coordinate with the DC team to ensure accurate receipt and stocking of imported goods by ensuring timely inputs of the gate system.

**Documentation Management**:

- Prepare and review all import-related documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and import licenses.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance and archive complete set of documents with customs regulations.
- Maintain organized records of all import documents for audit and reference.

**Customs Compliance**:

- Ensure shipments comply with all local and international regulations.
- Work closely with customs clearance specialist to clear goods through customs, handling any questions or issues that may arise.
- Monitor changes in import laws and regulations and ensure the company remains compliant.

**Supplier & Stakeholder Communication**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers on all import matters.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments, including procurement, warehousing, and finance, to align on shipment timelines and inventory needs.
- Resolve any delays, discrepancies, or issues that may impact the import process.

**Cost Control & Budgeting**:

- Monitor and control costs associated with import logistics, including freight, customs, and storage fees.
- Negotiate rates with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize import costs.
- Prepare reports and analyses on logistics expenses, seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with importing, including potential customs holds, regulatory changes, and supplier issues.

**Risk Management**:

- Implement contingency plans for handling delays or disruptions in the import process.

Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
- Indoors : 95%
- Outdoors : 5% (DC visit, external shipping partners meetings)
- Working Days : 5 Working Days
- Days off : 2 Days Off
- Working Hours : 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1 hour break)

Job Requirement

**Education**
- Bachelor (4 years)

**Experience**
- 5~7 Years of Experience

**Computer Skills**
- MS Office Suite, Oracle suite

**Languages**
- English
- Arabic
