**Job Description**:
**+ Develop and Implement HSE Policies**: Develop, review, and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

**+ Risk Assessment and Mitigation**: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Regularly review and update risk assessments as needed.

**+ Training and Awareness**: Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors to ensure awareness and compliance with safety protocols and procedures.

**+ Incident Investigation and Reporting**: Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop reports outlining root causes and corrective actions. Ensure all incidents are reported in accordance with regulatory requirements.

**+ Emergency Preparedness**: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid protocols, and crisis management strategies. Conduct drills and exercises to test preparedness and response capabilities.

**+ Compliance Monitoring**: Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE policies and regulations. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

**+ Contractor Management**: Evaluate the HSE performance of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to established safety standards and requirements. Provide guidance and support to contractors to promote a culture of safety.

**+ Environmental Management**: Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Develop and implement initiatives to minimize the project's environmental impact, such as waste reduction and energy conservation measures.

**+ Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, including inspections, training, incidents, and compliance documentation. Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.

**+ Continuous Improvement**: Stay informed about emerging HSE trends, regulations, and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve HSE performance and enhance the overall safety culture within the organization.

**Qualifications**:
+ Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

+ Minimum 12 - 15 years relevant (construction, facility management) experience.

+ Preference for construction experience (minimum 9 of these 12 years or 11 of 15 years should be in Construction).

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a main contractor in Construction.

+ Minimum 5 years relevant experience in mega projects.

+ Experience with Consultant / PMC extremely desirable.
