**Key Responsibilities:
**- Create/draft internal logs, risk registers and department manuals.
- Maintain and track internal risk registers and perform inspection on internal functions in line with department head instructions and Compliance & AML/CTF program to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
- Assists in the development of policies, processes, and procedures to ensure legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Applies the day-to-day operations assigned by department head.
- Identifies areas of compliance/AML vulnerability/risk and ensure development and implementation of controls and/ or corrective action plans and timely resolution of such risks.
- Conducts ad-hoc investigations / internal reviews as requested by department head to ensure internal controls are functioning as expected.
- Performs AML/CTF investigations on Investors/SMEs and to escalate suspicious activities.
- Reviews positive match cases referred by other functions, take the necessary action and to escalate positive matches.
- Maintains PEP/High Risk Customer register, obtain senior management approval and performs annual review on such accounts.
- Monitor, track and initiates Compliance/AML projects.
- Provide status reports to department head on outstanding activities, assignments.
- Draft and assists in filing Suspicious Transactions Reports (STRs) and in preparing internal reports and external regulatory reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in control/legal function.
- Good inter-personnel skills to deal with senior management
- Self-motivated individual with proven track record and a team player.
- Microsoft Office skills and particularly Excel
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Outstanding English/Arabic written/verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge in AML/CTF.
- Knowledge in SAMA's Requirements relating to finance companies.
