Warehouse Keeper

Job Objective:
Responsible for managing and coordinating all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials and products. The Warehouse Keeper aims to ensure inventory accuracy, maintain warehouse organization, and efficiently meet production and distribution needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
Receive materials and products from suppliers and ensure they match purchase orders.

Organize and store materials in the warehouse systematically to ensure easy access and effective inventory management.

Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to ensure data accuracy.

2. Shipping and Receiving Coordination:
Coordinate shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Ensure proper packing and shipping of products according to order requirements and ensure their safety during transit.

3. Issue Resolution:
Address any issues related to received materials or problems that may arise during shipping.

Resolve inventory discrepancies or logístical problems in collaboration with relevant teams.

4. Safety Monitoring:
Adhere to safety standards in the warehouse and ensure procedures are followed to protect materials and personnel.

Ensure all materials are stored correctly to minimize risks and damage.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
Record and analyze inventory and shipping data and ensure records are updated accurately.

Prepare periodic reports on inventory status and provide recommendations for improving warehouse operations.

6. Coordination with Other Departments:
Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and support production needs.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) department to ensure that stored materials and products meet specified quality standards, including facilitating quality inspection processes and providing necessary support to ensure quality throughout all inventory stages.

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Education and Experience:
Diploma in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.

At least 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.

2. Technical Skills:
Good knowledge of inventory management systems and storage software.

Ability to use warehouse equipment such as forklifts.

3. Personal Skills:
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.

Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Good communication skills for effective coordination with various teams.
