Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Facilities Manager - Water Services **to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

The Facilities Manager, (FM), Water Services reports to the Head of On Site Welfare Facilities. This is an important role that ensures the provision of safe drinking water and non-potable water as per Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Standards. The incumbent shall be responsible for overseeing the provision of potable and non-potable water. In addition overseeing the contractors services related to waste water removal, ensuring environmental guidelines and that all legal and mandatory requirements are strictly adhered to related to disposal. This role is a critical to support the welfare and health and safety of the workforce within THE LINE.
- Ensure that the contractor has developed and implemented policies and procedures related to provision, testing of all classes of water and wastewater management.
- Ensure compliance with NEOM and KSA regulations related to water quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Establish and maintain in coordination with stakeholders and contractor that sufficient safe drinking water and non potable water is supplied and restocked to maintain the manning levels on site daily.
- Ensure water is stored and cooled sufficiently to reduce dust and dirt or dust contaminating the containers. In addition, kept out of direct sun light.
- Engage with Senior Construction leads to re locate Water Hydration stations to reduce walking distances for the workforce.
- Monitor and data collect all services for analysis to support cost savings and increase efficiencies.
- Ensure all waste water collections are scheduled to avoid any over spillage and or environmental contamination.
- Oversee the inspection, maintenance and repair of water-related equipment and facilities, such as water pumps, treatment plants, storage tanks, piping systems, wastewater systems and fire protection systems.
- Ensure that the contractor has developed and implemented a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities related to water services and prevent a loss in service delivery.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Water Production and Waste Water Treatment and disposal. Professional certification desired (e.g., AWWA, WEF, NEHA) preferred. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum twenty (20) years experience in water management, water treatment and distribution systems, operations, and maintenance

- Knowledge of all principles and processes involved in the management of water services, including managing staff, developing policies, planning projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Excellent understanding of local and national regulations impacting water service systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Experience of maintaining and updating records and documentation related to potable and non potable water and waste water services.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data related to water usage, supply, demand and use that information to inform strategic decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to provide step-by-step detailed advice and solutions for remedying failures in service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to articulate clearly and concisely. English proficiency is required, (both written and oral).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and relevant water management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
- Team player with the ability to work independently under mínimal supervision.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
- Professional maturity and irreproachable integrity are obligatory.
