Design Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized **Design Project Manager (Interior Design) **to join an exciting project in** Madinah, KSA**.

**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership**
- Lead the effective achievement of the department objectives by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating employees to maximize individual and functional performance.
- Coordinate the activities of the team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the annual business plans, policies, and procedures.

**Interior Design Management**
- Oversee implementation guidelines (such as material selection) and the approval and assessment process of concepts, schematic and detailed architecture, and structural, MEP, and landscape designs for non infrastructure asset categories to ensure conformity to the master plan and set standards.
- Ensure that major designs produced are comprehensive, conforming to requirements and specifications delivered within agreed timelines, and validated with various engineers to ensure best implementation and installation of services in coordination with other parties and contractors.
- Provide necessary technical advice and design review/audit services to project managers to guarantee the correctness and quality of implemented requirements. Review and study requests to modify designs, formulate recommendations, and validate project deliverables and milestones based on approved guidelines to ensure project success.
- Develop standards, guidelines, and specifications for the master plan and designs and set requirements, timelines, and budgets in coordination with the Development team ensuring accurate translation of the development concept in project sites to ensure alignment with RUA’s site vision and completion of designs cost-effectively.
- Manage the coordination with the Procurement and Contract & Commercial departments to procure the required design and master planning services (e.g., urban design, architecture design services for residential, hospitality, retail, and attractions assets, structural design, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) design, landscape design, and interior design).
- Oversee required contract development and negotiations for service providers/contractors.

**Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports**
- Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Prepare accurate and timely functional deliverables and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.

**Continuous Improvement**
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the functional systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years experience as an Interior Architect or a similar role.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent spatial planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and a passion for design.
