As a Lead Cyber Security Engineer, you will advise, perform, and direct architectural and engineering tasks that are required to meet the identified goals and objectives of the existing Cyber Engineering team. Tasks may include the development of architecture, design, integration, implementation, and other technical artifacts necessary to plan, coordinate, manage and monitor security measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems and networks. To be successful in this role you will be familiar with technology infrastructures using Firewalls, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, EPP & EDR Solution, WAF, Web-Proxy and Security Audits, Windows Autopilot and Security Orchestration Automation & Response technologies.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Develop technical capabilities and methods to deliver the best cyber defense capability to protect IT assets from cyber threats, attacks, and exploitation
- Assist in developing and enhancing the security roles, policies, and controls implemented on the security devices.
- Troubleshooting and solve the problems/issues on security devices
- Provide critical input into the selection, configuration, and implementation of new and existing security technology solutions
- Develop, build and lead security service provider relationship(s) including, but not limited to use case development, service level agreements, and work-flow/process development for Security Operations Center (SOC)
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems and/or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred; however, equivalent years of hands-on engineering experience, education and certifications may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
- 7+ of experience related to cyber security operations, cyber incident response, or related IA/Security experience along with experience working in Information Technology engineering
- Experience and skill working within a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment
- Experience and skill with COTS technologies used in a Cybersecurity Engineering environment
- IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND or SSCP) certification required
- Knowledge and understanding of Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) technologies design and implementation
- Experience in computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery, and/or Computer network forensics
- Applicants must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure
- Ability to use PC, MS Office, Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
- Interpersonal and People Skills with Multi-Tasking
**Physical Requirements**:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
