EPAM is looking for a technically hands-on** Solution Architect** in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to help drive new and existing client projects in the region. front and back platform implementation, migration from existing legacy services and integration with internal/external products and services. This is a great opportunity to work with EPAM’s local Middle East and European Tech Leaders, Global Architects/Engineers, Delivery Teams and those from our client accounts supporting them navigate in a rapid developing technology landscape. Our Solution Architects must have the ability to engage in opening discussions, identify technology needs, recommend the right technology choices and deliver cutting edge solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES - As a Solution Architect, you will drive critical client projects of varying maturity from establishing project requirements and goals, designing high level solutions up to, and including, solution "go-live” across different industry sectors depending on where the core client demand is coming from - Design and implement a highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices architecture using Java - Incorporate various design patterns such as domain-driven design (DDD) to ensure modularity, separation of concerns and maintainability - Design robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, integrating seamlessly with government identity providers using protocols like OpenID Connect, SAML and OAuth for secure authentication and authorization - Facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements - Design for horizontal scalability and optimize microservices for high performance under varying loads while ensuring mínimal downtime and operational efficiency **REQUIREMENTS**: - Fluent English and Arabic speaker up to business level is essential - A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar or relevant work experience - Proven experience acting as hands-on Solution Architect/Technology Consultant with a strong foundation in Software Engineering (Java) - Experience with Microservice based architecture, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology whilst leveraging native Cloud services - Able to act as a SME to link technology with business value whilst guiding clients through the right technology choices suitable to their short and long-term goals - A passion for always providing exceptional client care and service - Comfortably working with senior colleagues at EPAM and with the client WE OFFER - General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) - Private healthcare and life insurance - End of service gratuity - Annual air travel tickets for expatriates - Corporate Programs including Employee Referral Program with rewards - Learning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, over 22,000 courses on LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more
