**Accountant is **Manage the bookkeeping operations according to the General and Corporate Accounting Principles and to the local legal and fiscal requirements, to ensure smooth & accurate financial processes

This is an individual contributor role working within our finance team reporting to the Finance Manager of Middle East

**Your responsibilities**:

- Perform Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Intercompany daily accounting (full cycle), reporting, analysis, reconciliation, maintaining vendor and customer files, resolving issues and discrepancies, responding to queries, and processing adjustments and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliation.
- Keep ERP system updating
- Ensure compliance of VAT and any fiscal regulations.
- Assist in month-end closing and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist in routine activities relevant to general administration.
- Assist in research and resolution of all types of accounting issues.
- Assist in internal and external audit requirements.
- Strict compliance and implementation of internal controls.
- Other ad hoc jobs or projects that will be assigned.
- fluent in English

**What you bring**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong accounting background, preferably at least 3 years of experience in AP, AR, IC, and General Accounting
- Knowledge and experience of GCC VAT
- Knowledge and experience of ERP or accounting system, preferably Sage 50- HFM
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel
- Sage 50 experience is preferred
- Proactive nature
- Working under pressure
- Ideal residential location would be in Khobar - Saudi Arabia.
