JASARA PMC is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join their team. The Project Director will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects and should have a solutions-based mindset with a drive for performance excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging programs and make a visible impact within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage project delivery from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government officials.
- Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Lead and mentor project staff, including project managers and technical experts.
- Ensure compliance with all project policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and correspondence.
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposals and presentations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field; Masters degree would be a plus.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong commercial background
- Hands on managing a team of professional staff to process fit out and interior finishing, MEP with preference to steel structure/hangars related to aviation.
- Professional Engineering license preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Demonstrated experience managing large and complex projects, with a track record of successful delivery.
- Strong client management skills including various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and government officials.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulations and policies relevant to engineering projects is preferred.
