Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **BIM Engineer **to join our team

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
Responsibility for Parsons’s BIM Engineering for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIDP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with other delivery partners. QIC is providing strategic direction for all partners in the three-way partnership with other partners on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to the Engineering Director.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Create BIM Model up to LOD 450 and do clash detection for coordination.
- Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts.
- Coordinates with the Engineer in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
- Check drawings for discrepancies and errors and do corrections necessary for the project.
- Provides spot detail / Shop drawings for the clarity of the plans and details.
- Responsible for MEP drawing coordination with Architectural
- Create Architectural and structural 3D Model based on 2D drawings and do clash detection for coordination.
- Coordinates with the Architect (architectural model input) in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
- Create render views and walkthrough videos out of the created models.
- Able to use engineering sizing tools for pipes, ducts, cables, etc
- Making Site visit for the measurement of the Area, for as-built purposes.
- Extract BOQs & schedules for all MEP components such as Pipes, cable trays, cables, ducts, valves duct accessories
- Prepare the needed reports.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- Degree in Engineering or related discipline with minimum 7 years’ experience in construction projects, specifically management experience across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts.
- Project Management Certified is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

**SKILLS/COMPETENCIES**:

- Demonstrated teamwork and management skills.
- Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
- Ability to follow through & clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
- Strong Contractor Management skills.
