Job Title BIM Coordinator

Location Saudi Arabia

Role Purpose

The BIM Coordinator Ensures BIM processes are implemented correctly on projects. Coordinates model updates, supports multidisciplinary design collaboration, enforces standards, and serves as a bridge between project and office teams.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

BIM Management & Production

  • Implement project-specific BIM workflows based on BEPs.
  • Review models and shop drawings for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractor and consultant model submissions, ensuring timely integration.
  • Track, manage, and resolve model coordination issues in collaboration with stakeholders.

Coordination and Collaboration

  • Execute and review clash detection; prepare reports and track resolutions.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings between design, construction, and subcontractor teams.
  • Support communication between office BIM management and site engineering teams.
  • Ensure documentation and updates are properly managed in CDE platforms

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Execute clash detection routines, prepare detailed reports, and ensure issues are resolved before model issuance
  • Maintain consistency of BIM deliverables across disciplines and projects.

Training and Support

  • Provide guidance and training on BIM tools and processes to project engineers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain training materials, manuals, and internal knowledge base.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on industry trends and support pilot implementation of innovative BIM workflows.
  • Provide feedback to improve BIM standards and company templates.

  • BIM-related certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are preferred.
