**JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT**: Performs all technical activities concerned with the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of automotive vehicles, storage facilities and Achievement of financial budget and key KPI’s. by performing the following duties personally.
**KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
2. Carry out vehicle inspections as necessary.
3. Report (verbally and written) all faults and findings.
4. Able to diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and capable doing troubleshooting.
5. Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
6. Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, manufacture components and other duties as directed by the Team Leader.
7. Strip, fit, replace components on vehicles and Perform engine rebuilds.
8. Proper implementation for loading & record the daily hour’s usage (ON, OFF, Idle...).
9. Inspect vehicles for faults and diagnose potential problems and customer complaints.
10. Deliver technical solutions for any diagnosed problem.
11. Perform and sign off vehicle tests upon completion of work before delivery of vehicles to customers.
12. Ensure that work is performed as per Job Cards and current schedule of works.
13. Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentations completed on time.
14. Ensure that the correct labour and parts are being recorded.
15. Ensure that the quality of information on each job card is accurate and complete before handing off to the Team Leader.
16. Noting the description of all work performed on the back of repair order if required.
17. Tagging all warranty replaced body parts according to laid down rules and handing to Warranty Department.
18. Ensure the replaced parts are kept in plastic bags in vehicle luggage compartment.
19. Assist technical support team to prepare field technical reports.
20. Accepting responsibility for supporting apprentices/helpers via training/explanation/ practice, the necessary skills required to perform the job correctly, thereafter to inspect/monitor the work and rectify any problems.
21.. Usage of special service tools including diagnosis testers and scan tools, Capable of handling circuit racings and electronic control units.
22. Assist/Act as team leader as and when required and guide co technicians.
23. Co-ordinate and work in a team environment.
24. Maintain and use equipments/tools as designed.
25. Daily time cards are completed accurately and on time.
26. Assist in the management of a harmonious environment, team building and training of apprentices and other employees as required.
27. Adherence to Company procedures.
28. Follow dealer workshop standards and requirements.
29. Provide support outside of core hours as and when required.
30. Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene and uniform appearance.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB**: An Automotive Vocational/Diploma holder.
**EXPERIENCE**
2+ years experience within the mechanical/ Electrical Automotive repair industry in a workshop environment.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLs & ABILITIES**
- Excellent communication skills, understand English by both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to clearly complete work reports and job cards.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees within the organization.
- Prefer to have a valid driving license or ability to drive.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety issues.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good time management skills with the ability to priorities work and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to remain focused when achieving objectives.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
