What you’ll do:

- The Mechanical Technician will report to the Lead Technician and work on the Maintenance of Aggreko products in line with the production schedule, product quality, health and safety and targets.
- Mechanical assembly of Aggreko Manufacturing products in accordance with work instructions and quality control documentation
- Troubleshooting/Diagnosis/Repair/Assembly/Overhaul/Refurb of Aggreko Products
- Assembly of Fuel and Cooling system hoses, pipes and fittings
- Assembly & Sub-Assembly of fabricated components
- Mating and torquing of flange assemblies.
- Use of air tools, hand tools, torque tools, overhead cranes, lifting and slinging equipment and measuring equipment
- Working to the high-quality standards of the business and escalating quality issues when they arise
- Work in an effective manner with the direct team members and wider Manufacturing cross-functional teams where required.
- Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects and activities
- Maintaining work area in a safe and tidy working condition
- Working strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the Mechanical field. Experience in the Electreical field a plus.
- Experience Working in Gas and Diesel Engines and generators.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a strong knowledge of Service and repair methods with experience of assembling mechanical systems.
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential.
- Excellent verbal communication
- Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
