Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Engineering Specialist - Civil **to join Jazan Team As a key member of Planning and Technical Specifications (PTS) Section, you will provide civil engineering expertise and support to the strategic planning of the infrastructure to support the Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI).

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Provides technical guidance on JCPDI infrastructure elements such as roads & grading, wet/dry utilities, utility corridor planning.
- Provides engineering input to studies and feasibility reports necessary to support the high level planning of JCPDI.
- Represents PTS Section at project and inter-sectional meetings.
- Prepares Scope of Works documents for engineering and other miscellaneous studies.
- Undertakes Engineering Work Requests (EWR’s) from other departments with particular reference to roads and infrastructure planning.
- Reviews design consultant’s drawings, specifications, and calculations submittals.
- Coordinates with other disciplines in PTS and in the wider Engineering Department.
- Prepares written summary of review comments using Engineering Review Comments (ERC) sheets.
- Reviews construction permits and makes recommendations based upon strategic concepts from the overall JCPDI Master Plan.
- Representing Engineering Department, performs field inspections and provides professional field support to Construction Department.
- Prepares technical reports, and internal engineering studies, not carried out by external consultants

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- A recognized university degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years. Design experience in general civil works is essential.
- Professional registration in the appropriate discipline is desirable.
- The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.
- A proven record of technical and administrative ability in design management.
- Must be knowledgeable with the appropriate engineering standards for civil works.
- Conversant and has working knowledge of Industry Standard software in CE design.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Five (5) years of experience in designing roads, grading and underground utility systems for the infrastructure of residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
