What you’ll learn & achieve:
**JOB FUNCTION**:
Owner of Program(s)/Scheme(s) where UL is operating or main point of contact with authorities/UL partners for the operation of certification programs.

Leads establishment of new capabilities and develop new service paths.

May represent UL in Regulatory/Technical Committees and Stakeholder meetings.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manages and implements large and complex projects.
- Leads and supports team members for the operation and improvement of certification programs.
- Interfaces with business leads and collaborates for the implementation of certification programs which meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Fosters and environment of continuous improvement and leads process improvement initiatives.
- May act as Program/Scheme Owner.
- Leads engagements with internal and external stakeholders to continuously grow and develop UL service offerings.
- May manage budget for operation and expansions of certification program capabilities.
- Responsible to grow and develop internal certification capabilities and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports and directly resolves program escalations.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.

What makes you a great fit:

- Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Preferred in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication or Mechanical Engineering.
- ** Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC Countries Certification Schemes and Market Access Requirements**.
- ** Experienced and knowledgeable in Saudi Arabia Energy Efficiency Program, GSO G-mark Scheme, Oman and Bahrain Certification Schemes, multiple areas of regulations and lead business decisions from COUs and other team members.**:

- ** Experience and knowledge in ISO17065, ISO17067 & scheme management.**:

- Ability to independently operate certification program schemes, ensure scheme operating procedures match customer needs, and identify areas for new business opportunities.
- Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customer in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on knowledge of schemes and past experiences.
- Good planning, organization and project management skills.
- Natural influencing skills, confident and be able to deliver the message.
- Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe difficult concepts in a clear way, network builder.
