**Key Responsibilities for Senior Payroll Specialist**:

- **Payroll Processing**: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations.
- **System Optimization**: Identify and implement improvements in payroll systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure all payroll practices are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports.
- **Audit and Review**: Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
- **Employee Support**: Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear explanations and resolving issues promptly.

**Essential Skills and Competencies for Senior Payroll Specialist**:

- **Detail Orientation**: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
- **Technical Expertise**: Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with advanced knowledge of Excel and data management tools.
