Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Review and verify timekeeping records including overtime, PTO, deductions, and adjustments.
- Maintain payroll data by collecting, calculating, and entering information into payroll systems.
- Ensure payroll compliance with tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and internal company policies.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
- Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Process new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
- Calculate and process garnishments, benefits deductions, commissions, and bonuses.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and provide support during audits.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong Excel and payroll software proficiency.
