**Responsibilities**:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance and control processes to ensure that all architectural materials and components, including finishes, cladding, glass facades, and decorative elements, meet the specified standards and regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of architectural materials and components to verify their quality, finish, and conformance to design and project requirements.
- Oversee and conduct tests on architectural materials, such as surface finish tests, weather resistance tests, and fire safety tests, ensuring their suitability for use in the project's architectural elements.
- Maintain detailed records of material inspections, finish quality assessments, and compliance documentation. Prepare comprehensive architectural material quality and compliance reports for project stakeholders.
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality architectural materials and components that adhere to design and project specifications.
- Identify and address non-conforming architectural materials and finishes, initiate corrective actions, and ensure compliance with quality standards specific to architectural elements.
- Continuously assess and enhance quality control processes and procedures for architectural materials and components to improve efficiency and maintain high design and finish standards.
**Essential Requirements**:
- A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field, with a focus on architectural design and construction materials.
- Relevant certifications in architectural quality control, material testing, or quality management system (ISO 9001) would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in QA/QC for architectural materials and finishes, particularly in mall or commercial construction projects, with a strong understanding of architectural design principles.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, construction codes, and standards. Familiarity with testing methodologies and equipment specific to architectural elements.
- Proficiency in analyzing test results and interpreting technical data related to architectural materials and finishes to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors on architectural material and finish requirements.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding architectural design and finish quality standards.
