Mep Engineer

We are in need a **MEP ENGINEER** who are currently residing in Saudi Arabia who is a citizen or resident who holds a valid and transferable iqama.

**Responsibilities for MEP Engineer (Fit-out)**
- Coordinating and administrating MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings.
- Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
- Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
- Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
- Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
- Assist in the scoping review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work order.
- Assist in the installation of MEP work.
- Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP Subcontractor.
- Managing multiple MEP projects
- Ensuring there are mínimal problems from the design to the delivery stage
- Using project management software, AutoCAD and word processing programs to create MEP plans
- Preparing cost estimates for electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems
- Overseeing the work of the project management team and ensuring adherence to the project schedule
- Coordinating on-site work with architects, structural engineers and electrical engineers
- Making technical clarifications to resolve coordination issues and design modifications to suit specific on-site construction requirements
- Monitoring and maintaining on-site health and safety policies and explaining the necessity of complying with these to the crew
- Undertaking off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability

**Qualifications for MEP Engineer (Fit-out)**
- **Experience**: Minimum of _5 years in hotel-standard MEP systems_
- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in _Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering_.
- **Gender**: Any
- **Residency**: Must be a GCC Citizen or Saudi Resident with valid and transferable iqama.
- Strong site background in HVAC, firefighting, electrical, and plumbing
- Capable of technical supervision, drawing review, and on-site control
- Construction procedures and practices
- Ability to deliver under fast-tracked and pressured timelines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD.
- Must be registered member of Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼10,000.00 per month
