**GENERAL PURPOSE**

A leading Maritime company in the offshore oil & gas services is seeking a Technical Office Engineer to be Responsible for technical aspects related to projects execution.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Office responsibilities (shall include but not limited to)**
- Studying of engineering reports and preparing the relevant Bill of quantities / material take off.
- Utilizing different engineering software ( e.g :Orcaflex ,ANSYS ) to perform structural analysis and supporting calculations ( e.g: sea fastening calculations, lifting analysis, laying analysis, etc).
- Reviewing and verification of drawings engineering reports, BOQs and MTO’s associated with tender documents.
- Interface with clients’ and subcontractors’ engineering office.
- Preparation of shop drawings.
- Following up with workshops, various projects’ sites and providing the required support.
- Preparation of different construction engineering documents ( work procedures, technical notes, etc).
- Liaising with site and project managers for drawings and construction engineering documentation approvals either from clients or third parties.

**Site responsibilities (shall include but not limited to)**
- Support site engineers during projects execution with technical advisory as required.
- **QHSE Responsibilities**
- Support the organization’s policy commitments and other applicable Arrangements related to its QHSE management system.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what they do or don't do in the course of their work.
- Notify their line manager about any health, safety or environmental concerns they have.
- Suggest improvements and being active in the general improvement of all Systems and methods of work to ensure Company operations are carried out in a personally and environmentally safe, reliable and cost effective way.

**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**
- BSc. Mechanical Engineering, Naval engineering, Offshore Engineering.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Good knowledge of running and managing projects.
- Basic knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry.
- Basic knowledge of the offshore installation methodologies & best practice.
- Basic knowledge of EGPC contracts forms, terms & conditions.

**EXPERIENCE**
- +5 years relevant experience in O&G industry.

**SKILLS**

AUTOCAD - MS Office - PMP

Orcaflex / Ansys
- **Languages**

Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
