- This project is an incredible opportunity, truly one-of-a-kind, with a scope that covers the design review_, _and supervision of_ _procurement_, construction, testing_,_ and_ commissioning, _over a duration _of up to_ 36 month_s_, including the construction of a _closed _wadi _with _running waters, _several buildings and retails areas and a _new RO plant to treat irrigation water._

**Technical / Design Review Director**

As the Technical /Design Review Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and technical expertise to our design review team. You will play a key role in overseeing design delivery, managing resources, fostering efficiency and performance in design output, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all engineering activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance individual and team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project requirements, development of engineering solutions in a timely manner.
- Oversee the design review process, in order to ensure ensuring adherence to technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Clients, the design consultant, vendors, contractors and any other key stakeholders involved in execution, serving as a trusted advisor for the development of sound and feasible technical solutions.
- Champion a culture of collaboration within engineering teams from all involved organizations to ensure timely resolution of design issues. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering management, incorporating relevant advancements into our project delivery processes.

**Qualifications** **& Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from western accredited university; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 18+ years in engineering management roles, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects.
- Strong technical expertise in all engineering disciplines, with the ability to provide hands-on guidance and support to engineering teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in engineering software, tools, and technologies relevant to your industry and projects.
- Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
- Active membership in Saudi Council of Engineering
