- This project is an incredible opportunity, truly one-of-a-kind, with a scope that covers the design review_, _and supervision of_ _procurement_, construction, testing_,_ and_ commissioning, _over a duration _of up to_ 36 month_s_, including the construction of a _closed _wadi _with _running waters, _several buildings and retails areas and a _new RO plant to treat irrigation water._

**PROJECT DIRECTOR**
As the Project Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of the project from inception to completion. You will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**:
Leading the PMC team for supporting the Client for the supervision and monitoring of the works to be performed by the Contractor(s):

- Lead and oversee all aspects of the project, including design verification, finalization, supervision of construction, testing, commissioning, and operation of all the facilities foreseen to be new RO plant.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Manage project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasting to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Client, the design consultant, vendors, contractor(s) and any other key stakeholders involved in execution, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in project planning, execution and monitoring.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among internal teams, external stakeholders, and project partners to mitigate risks and resolve challenges proactively.
- Monitor project progress, performance metrics, and compliance with established KPIs, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and clients, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field from Western accredited University; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 20+ years in project management consultancy, preferably within the urban development, infrastructure, water treatment, or construction sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, with specific expertise in design verification, construction oversight, and commissioning activities.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within established timelines and budgets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools and technologies.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is highly desirable.
