**Job Duties and Qualifications**:

- Under general supervision, the travel specialist works as a specialist in a specific area of travel services. The travel specialist is accountable for projects and assisting in the delivery of travel processes, policy, and business practices. As a specialist, the individual will have a high level of expertise to support multiple projects and work with all levels of management within the company. Routinely communicates with key stakeholders to educate about products and services, and to solicit feedback for continuous improvement. Coordinates and monitors travel center operations with contracted agency to ensure performance measurement and service level criteria are achieved. Maintains contact with regional Travel representatives to understand requirements. The travel specialist will troubleshoot and assist travelers as they use the travel portal and will be responsible for updates to the travel technology system. Skills are typically acquired through some college course work, with at least 3 years related experience in travel or support services function.
